My Experience :

Maybelline has been one of my favourite brands in cosmetics, so while buying lip balms I thought of giving this range a try and lets find out how well it worked for me!!

The packaging of this lip balm is quite cute. It comes in red(for Cherry), baby pink(for Dolly Rose) and maroon(for Rose Red) colored slender package with white circles on it. It has got a sturdy and travel friendly packaging. At the bottom you’d find a ring like structure, which is twisted along to get the product. The package makes assures us that its quite hygienic to use.

Well, this lip balm is quite creamy by consistency. It has got a pleasant mild fruity fragrance which I love it a lot!! It is non-sticky and it doesn’t even give any waxy feeling to the lips. It is a tinted lip balm which shows beautifully on both pigmented and non-pigmented lips. It has got SPF16 which is an added beneficial factor to this product. However, you’d require 2-3 swipes to get that natural tint on your lips. It imparts a sheer color and appears a bit glossy on lips which look beautiful on your lips. It doesn’t settle into fine lines and instantly heals chapped lips. As it is enriched withJojoba oil and Safflower seed oilit makes dry lips moisturised from the very instant you apply it and then lips look healthy and fuller. It stays well for about 3-4 hours which is a great attribute for a lip balm of this price range. You can even use it under or above your lipsticks and lip tints and it keeps your lips moisturised for a long duration of time. It is easily available everywhere and you can buy it without facing any problem.

All the lip balms from “Maybelline Lip Smooth Color& Care” have got the same attributes which were stated above and you almost get the same pink tint on your lips with application of Rose Red & Dolly Rose shade. But with Cherry –  you get an amazingly beautiful light red tint on your lips which shows up beautifully on both pigmented and non-pigmented lips.

9. It has got an amazing staying power i.e. for about 3-4 hours with this price range.
10. Its hygienic to use.

Cons of the Product :

I don’t find any!!! 

Final Verdict : Maybelline Lip Smooth Color& Care Lip balms  are very good lip balms which are quite inexpensive when you compare them with all the qualities that they’ve got. They are deeply moisturising and impart beautiful tints to your lips(pink tint – with Dolly Rose and Rose Red and light red tint – with Cherry) along with a bit of glossy appearance to your lips, which show up beautifully on both pigmented and non-pigmented lips. They’ve even got SPF16 which is an added beneficial factor to these lip balms. A mind-boggling staying power of about 3-4 hours. It is highly recommended to everyone who love their lips!!
